Like most accurate 3D pedometers, the 3DTriFit has a 15-step error prevention feature, meaning that it will only begin counting steps once it detects motion resembling approximately 15 continuous steps. This feature prevents random, non-walking movement from being recorded as steps. Pedometers without this feature have a high risk of presenting false records.
To ensure accuracy, make sure that the pedometer is carried in a stable position. If carrying the pedometer inside a pocket, our customers like the option of clipping the pedometer onto the pocket to provide a stable position to record.
